Can you afford Private Health Insurance?

A year and a half ago a friend began looking at different home based businesses. Once she’d paid her money for the information she discovered that she either had to make large additional investments or she needed additional computer skills.

It was a tough lesson but in the end she did find a company and has been able to make some money. The difficult part was the issue of private health insurance. Once she left her former job for eighteen months she was no longer able to get her insurance at the reduced group rate.

Private health insurance costs can be extremely high especially if you want the total coverage that you may have had in the past. Your Partner’s health insurance may be paid by their employer though it sometimes costs hundreds of dollars a month to add another person to it. If you’re looking for private health insurance get several price quotes. Check to see if they have all the coverage you need. It may be better value to be added to your Partner’s plan after all.
